Choosing your options
- Page count includes the 4-page cover and always goes up in multiples of 4. A 24-page booklet is the cover plus 20 inside pages.
- Saddle stitch folds the sheets and staples them through the spine. It's quick, neat and lies nicely open.
- Perfect binding glues the pages into a square spine, like a paperback. Our team will confirm the exact spine width for your cover file.
- Inside paper choices follow your cover: lighter covers pair with a matching inside stock, while 157gsm and heavier covers open up more inside papers.
- Lamination adds scuff protection and a gloss or matt finish to the cover. It isn't available on 80, 105 or 128gsm covers, which come unlaminated.
Artwork tips
- Send PDF, PSD, PNG, JPG, TIFF or SVG (or ZIP it up). Please don't send .ai or .eps files. Save as PDF instead.
- Set up in CMYK at 300dpi with 3mm bleed on every page.
- Keep text and important details at least 25mm away from the binding side so nothing gets swallowed by the spine.
- Supply pages in reading order as a single PDF if you can. It makes checking faster.
FAQs
Does the page count include the cover?
Yes. The cover counts as 4 pages (outside front, inside front, inside back, outside back), so a 16-page booklet has 12 inside pages.
Which binding should I pick?
Saddle stitch is ideal for slimmer booklets like programmes and brochures. Once you're into the thicker page counts, perfect binding gives a sturdy, flat spine that looks great on a shelf.
Can I get a mix of sizes in one order?
Each order line is one size, page count and paper setup. Add a separate line for each version you need.
How long does it take?
Booklets are ready in 8 to 10 working days once your artwork is approved.
