Picking your shape and finish
- Shapes 1, 2 and 3: compact, standard-size fans that suit most events, on 310gsm card.
- Shape 4: the same compact size on thicker 360gsm card for a more solid feel in the hand.
- Shape 5: our big fan, with lots more printable area for show-stopping artwork.
- Gloss lamination makes colours and photos pop; matt lamination gives a calm, premium look and hides fingerprints from all that handling.
Once your order is in, our team emails you the die-line template that matches your shape, so your artwork sits neatly inside the cut and clear of the handle.
Artwork tips
- Send PDF, PSD, PNG, JPG, TIFF or SVG (or ZIP it up). Please don't send .ai or .eps files. Save as PDF instead.
- Set up in CMYK at 300dpi, using the die-line template for your shape. It marks the cut line, safe area and handle position.
- Keep it big and bold: fans are seen at arm's length, so tiny text and fine detail get lost.
- Use high-contrast colours, put your logo front and centre, and keep anything important clear of the handle area.

Are both sides printed?
Yes! Every fan is printed in full colour on both sides and laminated on both sides, all included in the price.
How early should I order for a fixed event date?
Production takes 6 to 8 working days. For a dated event, aim to order 2 to 3 weeks ahead to leave time for artwork checks.
