Description
Hand out good fortune with your name on it. We print custom red packets (ang bao) for Chinese New Year and green packets for Hari Raya in full colour on smooth art paper, folded and packed into neat sets so they're ready to share the moment they arrive. Clients, partners and staff all use them through the festive season, so your brand travels into homes across Singapore.
Why the herd loves it
- Gifts that actually get used: every packet gets filled, handed over and kept, so your logo gets seen again and again.
- Two shapes: the classic tall portrait packet, or a modern landscape layout that stands out from the stack.
- Premium finishes: velvety soft-touch lamination, glossy spot UV, gold or silver foil, or the full spot UV + foil combo.
- Packed in sets: 5, 8 or 10 packets per pack, ready to drop into hampers or hand out at your lo hei.
Specs at a glance
- Sizes: Portrait 170 x 82mm (the classic tall packet, with room for any note) or Landscape 158 x 80mm
- Paper: 157gsm art paper (sturdier, holds its folds, our pick for corporate packets) or 128gsm art paper (lighter and budget-friendly)
- Printing: full colour offset
- Finishing (157gsm): soft-touch lamination as standard, plus optional spot UV, gold or silver foil, or spot UV + foil
- Finishing (128gsm): unlaminated, so the folds may crease or crack a little
- Packing: 5, 8 or 10 pieces per pack
- Quantity: 500 to 50,000 pieces
- Turnaround: 10 to 15 working days after artwork approval
Choosing your finish
- Soft-touch lamination: a soft, peach-skin matt surface that looks modern and feels lovely to hold.
- + Spot UV: a glossy shine on chosen areas, like your logo or festive motifs, that pops against the matt base.
- + Foil: shiny metallic foil. Gold says prosperity and looks great on red; silver feels clean and contemporary.
- + Spot UV + Foil: the works. Matt base, gloss highlights and metallic accents in one packet.
Artwork tips
- Send PDF, PSD, PNG, JPG, TIFF or SVG (or ZIP it up). Please don't send .ai or .eps files; save as PDF instead.
- Set up in CMYK at 300dpi, with fonts outlined and images embedded.
- For spot UV or foil, add a separate layer (or a separate page) showing exactly where it goes.
- Make foil areas chunky and solid. Hairlines and very small text lose detail in foil.
- Use the back too: a short greeting, your website or a QR code sits nicely there.
FAQs
When should I order for Chinese New Year?
As early as you can. October to November is ideal, because the season fills up fast and the festive date won't wait for anyone.
Which paper should I pick?
Going corporate? Choose 157gsm. The extra weight feels premium in the hand and keeps the folds crisp. 128gsm is lighter and great value for very large giveaways.
Why is 8 per pack so popular?
Eight sounds like prosperity in Chinese, which makes it the go-to for corporate gifts. Pick 5 or 10 if that suits your hand-outs better.
Can I order green packets for Hari Raya?
Absolutely. Same sizes, papers and finishes; just send us your green design.
