Description
Some labels aren't finished when they leave the printer. They need a date, a name, a tick or a batch number added by hand. Simili is made for exactly that. It's an uncoated woodfree paper with a soft, natural matte surface that soaks up ink, so pens, markers and stamps go on crisp instead of smearing. We print your design in full colour, then cut each one right through the face paper and the liner underneath, so every piece is a standalone label ready to hand out or peel and stick.
Why the herd loves it
- Writable and stampable: ballpoint pens, felt-tips, permanent markers and rubber or self-inking stamps all leave a clean mark.
- Overprint-friendly: works with thermal transfer label printers for batch numbers, expiry dates and serial codes.
- Cut to your exact shape: each sticker comes loose on its own backing, perfect for giveaways, packs and one-by-one use.
- Natural, understated look: the matte finish suits "handmade" seals, ingredient labels and text-heavy designs.
- Sticks to almost anything: a permanent adhesive that grips card, paper, glass, plastic, metal and wood.

How pricing works
Tell us your sticker size and how many you need. We work out how many fit on each A3 sheet and price by the sheet, so smaller stickers and bigger runs get cheaper per piece. Your live price updates as you choose.
Good to know
- Colours sit a little softer than on glossy stock, because the uncoated surface absorbs the ink. Want punchy, shiny colour and no writing? Our Mirrorkote Stickers are the better pick.
- Die-cut vs kiss-cut: die-cut stickers are cut all the way through so each one stands alone. Prefer your labels kept together on a shared backing sheet? Go for our Simili Stickers & Labels (Kiss-cut).
- Heading outdoors or somewhere wet? Choose our White Waterproof PP Stickers instead.
Artwork tips
- Send PDF, PSD, PNG, JPG, TIFF or SVG (or ZIP it up). Please don't send .ai or .eps files. Save as PDF instead.
- Set up in CMYK at 300dpi with 2 to 3mm bleed, fonts outlined and images embedded.
- Add your cut shape as a separate layer or a clear outline. Not sure how? Just send the design and we'll draw the cut line for you, free of charge.
- Leave clean, light-coloured space wherever you plan to write or stamp.
FAQs
Can I really write on these with a normal pen?
Yes! Ballpoint, felt-tip and permanent markers all write cleanly on simili, and stamp ink absorbs for a crisp impression.
Are they waterproof?
No. Simili is an uncoated paper meant for indoor use. For fridges, bottles or outdoor spots, pick our waterproof stickers.
What's the smallest order?
Just 1 piece. Small runs are covered by our minimum order price, and the per-piece cost drops as your quantity grows.
Can I mix designs?
Each order line is one design and size. Just add a separate line for each design.
