Description

Most foam boards are plain rectangles carrying a picture. Ours go one better: we cut right along the outline of your artwork, so you get the shape itself, not a box around it. Mascots, product silhouettes, speech bubbles, arrows, logos, life-size characters. If you can draw the outline, we can cut it. Light enough to carry, rigid enough to stand tall at events, shopfronts and exhibitions.

Picking a finish

• No lamination (natural matt): the plain printed surface. Fine for indoor, short-term displays.
• Matt lamination: a smooth, non-reflective protective film that resists scuffs. Our pick for boards that get handled, moved or reused.
• Gloss lamination: a shiny protective film that makes colours and photos really pop. Great for retail displays.

We strongly suggest laminating die-cut boards: custom edges wear faster than straight ones, and the film seals the print to the board so your display lasts much longer.

Artwork tips

• A die-cut line is a must: add a separate vector path for the exact cut outline, in its own colour (e.g. magenta) on its own layer.
• Vector PDF works best (SVG is fine too). You can also send PSD, PNG, JPG or TIFF, or ZIP everything up. Please don't send .ai or .eps files. Save as PDF instead.
• Set up in CMYK at 300dpi, with text outlined and images embedded.
• Extend your artwork at least 3mm beyond the cut line so no white edges sneak in.
• Keep the outline bold and simple. Thin spikes, sharp points and narrow necks can snap or may not cut cleanly. If a shape is beyond what our cutter can handle, we'll suggest tweaks before printing.

FAQs

Can you cut holes inside the shape?
Internal cutouts are possible but trickier, so drop us a note before ordering and we'll confirm whether your design works.

Will a tall standee stand up on its own?
A broad, flat bottom in your artwork keeps it steady. Need extra support? Ask us about a stand attachment.

I just need a plain rectangle. Is there a quicker option?
Yes! Our standard Foam Board Posters are trimmed straight to size with a faster turnaround.

Can I order several designs at once?
Yes. Choose "Multiple designs" and put the quantity of each in its file name, e.g. Design A-1pc.pdf, Design B-2pcs.pdf.
